This protest is meant to unite the people of Oregon, our beautiful state, under a common cause. It is our responsibility as citizens to inform our government that now is the time to act. It will not be easy, but it is necessary. Climate change should not be a polarizing issue, rather a flag that all of us can rally behind. To those who believe in climate change, stand with us. To those who don't, we are not your enemies, but your allies. Give us the chance to prove it.
